‍    Our first PFCC challenge for august was a wedding ring from PixelSquid. Usually, I stew a couple of days trying to figure out how to use the starter image, but I knew as soon as I saw this, it would make a great halo. I started my search for babies and/or cherubs right away. I found a cherub statue from Pixabay. I masked it from it’s background and carefully colored each section. To be inclusive, I did two versions, and included them both because I like them equally. I put the cherub in front of a blue background and added clouds with a brush from Aaron Blaise (creatureartteacher.com)

‍    But the first baby I found was so captivating, that I laughed out loud when I found him. I still smile every time I see him. Here’s hoping he brightens your day as well. Same halo; the baby and swan wings are from Pixabay; same source for cloud brushes.

‍    Take care and stay well.
